Victor Kaptelinin
Designing Mediation
Victor Kaptelinin is a Professor in Human-Computer Interaction at the Department of Informatics, Ume
å University, Sweden, and the Department of Information Science and Media Studies, University of Bergen, Norway. He has held teaching and/or research positions at the Psychological Institute of Russian Academy of Education, Moscow Lomonosov University, and the University of California in San Diego, USA. His main research interests are in HCI theory, activity-centric computing, interactive environments, and educational uses of information technologies.
Krzysztof Walczak
The Challenge of Interactive 3D Content Creation
Krzysztof Walczak is an associate professor at the Department of Information Technology at the Poznan University of Economics. His research interests include virtual and augmented reality systems, multimedia systems, distance learning and semantic web. He was acting as a technical coordinator in numerous research and industrial projects in these domains. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the EuroVR Association, the Board of Directors of VSMM (International Society on Virtual Systems and Multimedia) and the Web3D Consortium.
